Overwhelmed by debt, unable to maintain a steady job, and navigating the collapse of her marriage, it seemed as though everything she had built had crumbled overnight. In that moment of darkness, Cristina turned to personal development.
One of the most eye-opening moments in her journey came when she discovered her core values. Until that point, Cristina had followed the paths that others laid out for her, often subordinating her desires to what she believed she "should" value. She admired her then-husband and feared losing him, which led her to people-please and suppress her own needs. But when she uncovered her true values using the Demartini Values Determination Process, she realized her highest values were not centered on a relationship at all. For the first time, she gave herself permission to be fully authentic.
This breakthrough marked a profound shift in Cristina’s life. She began to empower herself, release resentment, and stop subordinating to others’ expectations.
